Ends:
Monday, December 04, 2017 5:30 PM
Description:

Come enjoy our Annual Bean Feed and Christmas Parade!

On our beautifully decorated Town Square, at 5:30, we kick the night off with our traditional Bean Feed where the Chamber of Commerce serves its delicious beans and cornbread. It's also the perfect time to take pictures on our decorated gazebo or among the many lighted Christmas displays and visit Santa's House. Then, enjoy the biggest and best parade in the River Valley!

The Greenwood Chamber’s theme for the parade this year is “One CAN make a difference.” CAN, being the operative word, we will do a food drive to benefit our local Greenwood food pantries and Blessing Boxes.

To enter the parade you must donate one can of food per number of persons on your float or vehicle.  The Chamber, in conjunction with the City, will have a  “FOOD FLOAT” that will collect canned goods from all of the bystanders who come out to watch the parade as our Food Float passes by.

The Chamber will begin the evening with our traditional Bean Feed, a free meal served with cornbread and drink and enjoy the lights of the Square, Santa’s House, and music all beginning at 5:30. The Parade will then start at 7pm.
